MLK, Jr. Memorial Banquet
Event Overview

Since 1993, we have awarded more than 150 scholarships to Chapel Hill and Orange County high school and college students. These students have demonstrated a commitment to community involvement and improvement through their civic, educational and religious activities. We look forward to your continued supports of our efforts to help these deserving students at our upcoming virtual event.
2023 event AGENDA
This year’s Master of Ceremonies is Bishop L. Gene Hatley. Our funding goal is to award 15-20 non-renewable scholarships. Our ambitious goal can only be achieved with the strong support of the community. After two years of hosting this event online, we are returning to an in-person event for 2023. The banquet will highlight our work and showcase the scholarship recipients and awards honorees. Details regarding the 2023 MLK JR. Memorial Banquet are below.
